No, I´m still using HDB 139grs (lead-free) in 9" twist and Aero 120grs for my 11" twist rifle.
This spring I´ll test the Accubond LR 168grs and the Trophy Bonded Tip 160grs which is very promising in terms of robust bullet design and high B.c.
In general I´m no fan of the RWS bullets as I see no advantages compared to Nosler, Barnes, Swift and other bullet producers...

The powder burn rate of N570 would suit to the 7x66SE.
Currently I´m using the H1000, before I used Retumbo, but this powder is no longer available in Germany.
If you want to test new powders I´d recommend to have a look on the new IMR 7977 or the 8133.
The mentioned Tubal 8000 has been replaced by Vectan SP13, the former PBC … has been replaced by Ramshot Magnum, which could be also a good choice.
As the H1000 is also no longer available in Germany I will try the IMR 8133 as new propellant in future.
The case capacity of the 7x66SE is in between of the 7mm Weatherby Mag and the 28 Nosler, so it´s always good to have a glance on reloading recommendations of this calibers.

I have obtained excellent performances with Tipstrike bullet, and top performance with ks 162 grains.
But both theese bullets are too soft for heavy games.

And the load was 4100 bar in theory ...
Now i have reduced the load to 81.5 grains with 84,5mm oal.
This should achieve 960 ms... Always in theory...

Interessant die Feststellungen über hohe Augenblickswirkung und wenig Wildpretzerstörung durch den "paarigen Schockreflex" bei sehr hohen Auftreffgeschwindigkeiten. War in der Zeit, in der der Prospekt geschrieben wurde, also Ende der 30er Jahre, "Stand der Erkenntnis", oder doch eher: "Stand der Reklame"...
In der Zeit davor, bis in die 20er Jahre hinein, hieß es: Ein Geschoß muß Masse und Querschnitt haben, also wirken Patronen wie 8x57J, 9x57, 10,75x am besten oder die div. Expresspatronen in 8mm und 9,3mm.
Zur selben Ansicht kam man dann wieder vor 20-30 Jahren (.308Win., .30-06, 8x57JS, 9,3x62/x74R).
Und jetzt, wo vermehrt überleichte, bleifreie Geschosse propagiert werden, wird wieder das Wort einer hohen Vz nachgeredet...
Gerade wie man´s in der "aktuellen Mode", damit das neu propagierte Produkt auch eine "Legitimation" bekommt, braucht.

Wie von @bracki gewünscht kurz was zu meiner 9,5x66SE
Basiswaffe war eine Mauser 66SM, ehemals im Kaliber 6,5x57.
Otto Repa hat einen neuen Lauf angefertigt, 60cm Länge und den Zubringer angepasst. Die Patronen flutschen, jagdlich führe ich dieses Kaliber v.a. in Namibia, hierzulande ist es etwas überzüchtet.
Ein 270 grs A-Frame bekommt man auf gut 850 m/s an der Mündung, der Rückstoß ist gut spürbar. Dagegen schießen sich meine beiden M66 in 9,3x64 angenehm.
Hülsen von Horneber und SHM. Die Patrone passt gut in ein Normalsystem, mit 85 mm L6 kommt man gut hin.

Die Mündung erinnert sehr an meine 9,3.
Otto's Handschrift ist deutlich erkennbar.
Die Montage läßt Luft für große Gläser?
Und die 9,5 ist intensiver als die 9,3x64, etwas für Mündungsbremse oder SD?
